Communicate and Bargaining: You will be responsible for a large number of outbound calls to insurance companies to enquire about medical claims that have been refused, underpaid, or unpaid.

Determine the root cause (e.g., coding error, lack of authorisation, credentialing difficulty) by applying critical thinking to the analysis and strategy of claim denials and payment issues.

Be a Problem-Solver: You will take the required steps to settle the claims, such as enforcing payment status, requesting required paperwork, and contesting denials.

To guarantee a transparent audit trail, you will painstakingly record in the medical billing system (PMS) all follow-up actions, correspondence specifics, and resolution procedures.

Uphold Compliance: You will make sure that all communications and follow-up actions adhere to payer-specific policies and HIPAA requirements.
