Job Description

Who You Are:

Expert Welding: You will perform high-quality, structural-grade ARC welding (SMAW) in all positions (flat, horizontal, vertical, overhead), working primarily on thick-gauge carbon steel and other alloys.

Blueprint Interpretation: You'll accurately read and interpret complex engineering blueprints, welding symbols, and specifications to prepare and execute work according to the required dimensions and joint configurations.

Equipment Mastery: You will set up, adjust, and maintain the SMAW equipment, selecting the correct electrode type and size, amperage, and polarity based on the material and welding procedure specification (WPS).

Safety and Standards: You will adhere strictly to all established company and industry safety standards, including proper ventilation, PPE usage, and fire prevention, while ensuring welds comply with codes like AWS (American Welding Society).

Material Preparation: You'll be responsible for preparing the weld area, including cutting, grinding, cleaning, and tack-welding parts together before the final welding process begins.

Experience: 0 to 3 yrs

Education: Any ITI Graduation
