Duties and Responsibilities
Key Job Responsibilities
• Perform daily auditing of plant performance by utilizing the facilities built on the building management system (BMS) e.g. data logging, plant review, alarm manager status, etc.
• Analyse the behavior of the plants with respect to the set point and setting up the various control parameters.
• Use the historical logged data of various plants to review the system and propose improvements in order to enhance the system efficiency and / or reduce the operation cost as well as improve the services provided.
• Participate in the Health, Safety & Risk programs including toolbox meeting, health safety and environmental training related to work activities especially electrical safety and working at heights.
• Carry out all other duties as directed by the company
Requirements
• Electro-mechanical/HVAC diploma; certificate/training in Control Systems
• Good level of the English language both written and spoken.
Skills
• A basic knowledge of Microsoft Office packages – MS Word, Excel, MS Outlook
• Able to work under stringent deadlines.
• Technically competent with a clear technical understanding of BMS services and associated equipment.
• Proficient and able to demonstrate a complete understanding of the BMS system.
Experience
• Minimum 5 years Gulf experience working as a BMS Operator
• Knowledge of Health and Safety relating to Operations
• Has an advance knowledge with BMS systems in commercial buildings or other facilities management building services engineering environment.
