Role Description:
The Calibration Technician will be working under Magnum Industrial Laboratories and will be responsible for calibrating, troubleshooting, and maintaining test equipment and instrumentation in a laboratory setting. The role requires meticulous attention to detail and adherence to quality standards.
Qualifications:
Education: Diploma in Instruments Engineering or any other related field.
Experience: minimum 3-5 years' experience as a calibration technician in a commercial laboratory.
Must have a GCC Driving license and GCC Experience preferably in Bahrain.
Relevant certification or training in calibration: ISO 17025 Standard.
Responsibilities:
1. Record all equipment and customers details.
2. Checking the condition of the equipment and recording the same when received.
3. Handling the equipment with due care.
4. Reading/understanding technical/support documents of equipment before starting the job.
5. Follow the calibration/test as per the procedures and instructions from superior.
6. Reporting to superior about the failures/malfunctions of the equipment.
7. Making proper reports of calibration/test and certificates.
8. Checking all equipment and documents during delivery to customers.
9. Following all the quality procedure/system for laboratory’s documentation, recording and information.
10. Keeping all the Laboratory assets and master equipment proper location, clean and neat.
11. Checking performance of master equipment regularly.
12. Checking calibration/maintenance record of master equipment regularly.
13. Reporting at customer’s site on time with all the required equipment and documents.
14. Follow the safety rules and use the required Personnel Protective Equipment.
15. Choosing appropriate location to perform the calibration/test.
16. Reporting unsafe conditions of equipment/calibration job.
