What You will do:
Capture Revenue: Using codes derived from superbills, encounter forms, and medical records, you will promptly and precisely submit charges for services rendered.
Maintain Data Integrity: You will examine and confirm that the entered charges match clinical documentation, making sure that the right service dates, locations, and units are noted.
Validate and Audit: Before the claim is sent to payers, you will conduct charge audits to find and fix any inconsistencies, coding mistakes, or missing data.
Maintain Compliance: You will make sure that all charges are entered strictly in accordance with the most recent coding standards, payer restrictions, and laws.
Work Together for Quality: To resolve problems that can impede the filing of a clean claim, you will efficiently communicate with the coding and accounts receivable teams to clarify paperwork.
