Responsibilities:
Welcome guests with a warm and friendly demeanor, creating a positive first impression.
Manage the restaurant's reservation system, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
Escort guests to their tables and provide them with menus.
Coordinate with servers and other staff to ensure a smooth flow of service.
Handle guest inquiries, manage waitlists, and communicate wait times effectively.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the reception and waiting areas.
Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a seamless guest experience.
Uphold the restaurant's standards for hospitality and professionalism.
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a hostess, preferably in a fine dining or upscale environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Professional appearance and demeanor.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Familiarity with reservation systems (experience with EatApp is a plus).
