Job Title: VMC Operator

Location: Chennai, Tamil Nadu

Salary: 12,000 to 22,000 per month (depending on skills and experience)

Role & Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor VMC machines (Vertical Machining Centers).

• Read and interpret engineering drawings.

• Load raw materials and tools into the machine.

• Run machining cycles and monitor quality.

• Perform basic measurement checks using tools like Vernier caliper, micrometer, etc.

• Maintain machine cleanliness and follow safety procedures.

Qualifications:

• ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Fitter, Machinist, or related field.

• Basic knowledge of CNC/VMC operations and tools.

• Fresher or up to 3 years of relevant experience.

Experience:

• 0 to 3 years

• Freshers with technical training/ITI can apply

Preferred Skills:

• Understanding of G-code and M-code is a plus

• Ability to work in shifts

• Basic understanding of machine maintenance
