Job Title: CNC/VMC Operator – Experienced (5 to 7 Years)

Location: Chennai, Tamil Nadu

Job Type: Full-Time | Rotational Shifts or General Shift

Experience Required: 5 to 7 Years in CNC & VMC Operations

Salary: 22,000 – 32,000/month (Based on experience & skills) + OT + PF + ESI

Qualification: ITI / Diploma in Mechanical / CNC Programming Certification (Preferred)

Job Description:

We are seeking skilled and experienced CNC/VMC Operators with 5–7 years of hands-on experience in operating and setting CNC Turning or VMC machines. Candidates should have a strong understanding of machining processes, ability to read engineering drawings, and maintain precision in high-volume production environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and set CNC Turning and VMC machines independently

• Load tools, set tool offsets, and adjust fixture alignments

• Interpret and work with 2D mechanical drawings and job cards

• Perform in-process inspection using precision instruments (micrometer, vernier, height gauge)

• Monitor machine performance and take corrective action as needed

• Maintain productivity and quality targets during shifts

• Basic troubleshooting and preventive maintenance coordination

• Maintain shift reports and follow safety procedures

Required Skills:

• In-depth knowledge of CNC/VMC machine operations and tool setting

• Ability to work with Fanuc / Siemens / Mitsubishi controllers

• Familiar with G-code and M-code (basic understanding)

• Strong measurement and inspection skills

• Ability to handle job changeovers and maintain tight tolerances

• Experience with die/mold or auto component industries is a plus

• Shift flexibility and leadership in production floor tasks
