Hiring Quality Engineer – 3 to 5 Years Exp | Chennai

Position: Quality Control Engineer

Industry: Manufacturing / Engineering

Location: Chennai

Experience: 3 to 5 Years

Qualification: Diploma / B.E / B.Tech in Mechanical or Production Engineering

Job Type: Full-Time | Permanent

Job Responsibilities:

• Inspect incoming, in-process, and finished components

• Handle day-to-day quality issues on the shop floor

• Prepare and maintain inspection reports and quality records

• Use measuring instruments: Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge, etc.

• Read engineering drawings and tolerances

• Perform root cause analysis and corrective action (CAPA)

• Ensure adherence to ISO/TS quality standards

• Coordinate with production and supplier quality teams

Key Skills Required:

• Quality Inspection & Documentation

• GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)

• Knowledge of 7 QC Tools

• Familiarity with ISO 9001 / TS 16949

• Problem Solving, RCA, CAPA

• MS Office (Excel, Word)

• Good Communication Skills
