Job Description:

The Shift Incharge is responsible for overseeing the operations during a specific shift in the production or manufacturing unit. This role involves managing the workforce, ensuring production targets are met, maintaining quality standards, and adhering to safety protocols. The Shift Incharge acts as the primary point of contact during their shift and coordinates with other departments to ensure smooth workflow and timely problem resolution.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate activities of the production team during the assigned shift.

Monitor production processes to ensure targets and quality standards are met.

Ensure compliance with safety and company policies during the shift.

Allocate tasks and manage manpower effectively.

Identify and resolve operational issues promptly to minimize downtime.

Maintain accurate shift reports and communicate progress to management.

Train and guide team members to improve productivity and efficiency.

Coordinate with maintenance and quality control teams to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications & Skills:

Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field preferred.

Strong leadership and communication skills.

Ability to manage teams and work under pressure.

Knowledge of safety standards and production processes.

Location: Chennai

Experience: 0 to 2 years

Salary: Above 18k per month

Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related discipline
