What You will do:

Machine Operation: Operate and monitor conventional and/or CNC turning machines (lathes) to produce parts as per drawings and specifications.

Setup & Tooling: Set up machines, including mounting and aligning workpieces, selecting and installing appropriate cutting tools, and adjusting machine settings (speeds, feeds, depth of cut).

Blueprint Reading: Accurately read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and job orders to understand part dimensions, tolerances, and material requirements.

Measurement & Inspection: Perform in-process and final inspection of machined parts using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and verniers to ensure adherence to specified tolerances.

Quality Control: Identify and report any defects or deviations from quality standards. Make necessary adjustments to maintain quality.
