Job Title: Safety Officer – Manufacturing

Job Summary:

Responsible for implementing and monitoring safety protocols within the manufacturing facility to ensure a safe work environment, regulatory compliance, and accident prevention.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and enforce safety policies specific to manufacturing processes.

Conduct regular safety audits and workplace inspections on the shop floor.

Identify hazards related to machinery, chemicals, and work processes; recommend corrective actions.

Investigate workplace incidents and accidents; prepare detailed reports and suggest preventive measures.

Conduct safety training sessions and toolbox talks for manufacturing staff.

Ensure compliance with OSHA, ISO, and local manufacturing safety regulations.

Maintain safety documentation, permits, and records.

Coordinate emergency response drills and ensure readiness of safety equipment.

Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to address safety concerns.

Required Skills:
