Job Description:
The Network Technician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, upgrading and troubleshooting all network systems. These systems may include but are not limited to:
Responsibilities
• Install, configure, and maintain network hardware and software (routers, switches, firewalls, etc.)
• Troubleshoot network issues and provide timely resolutions
• Monitor network performance and identify potential problems
• Implement network security measures to protect sensitive data
• Provide technical support to end-users
• Document network configurations and changes
• Stay up-to-date on the latest networking technologies
Qualifications
• Diploma or equivalent in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related field
• Proven experience as a Network Technician or similar role
• Strong understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, etc.)
• Proficiency in network hardware and software
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Relevant certifications like CCNA etc preferred
• Work Experience: 2+ years in a similar role is preferred.
