Operations Manager’s responsibilities include but not limited to overseeing daily business activities, improving overall business functions, training heads of departments, managing budgets, developing strategic plans, creating policies, and communicating business goals. Direct and manage our organization's business activities and to develop and implement effective business strategies and programs. Allocating budget resources, formulating policies, coordinating business operations, monitoring and motivating staff, managing operational costs, ensuring good customer service and good relationship with guests, improving administration processes, coordinating with suppliers, hiring and training employees, identifying business opportunities, and monitoring financial activities, generating new business, increasing staff productivity, improving service, ensuring sustainability, and meeting business objectives. Operations manager should be an expert communicator with a strong ability to delegate responsibilities and collaborate across a wide range of departments. And has an ultimate desire to lead a team toward maximum productivity and efficiency.
Job Responsibilities:
Operations:
1. Established operational, administrative systems & procedures
2. Formulates policies & procedures for the company
3. Supervise implementation of systems & procedure
4. Monitors performances, attendance of team for continuous development of the business
5. Initiate training and development programs for employees
6. Motivates employees and encourage morale
7. Oversee output of management and team members
HR:
1. Interview and hiring process
2. Preparation of Job Offer
3. Collection and submission of required documents for Visa application
4. Coordinate and organize other employee requirements such as CPR, Medical, Uniform, Company Accommodation, Company transportation
5. Monitors employee attendance and performance
6. Submits requirements for CR application, updates and other documents related to all ministry application and/or certification
7. Handles manpower requirements and issues
8. Manage employee concern, issues and grievances aligned to company and ministry standards
Admin:
1. Process requirements and application of EWA & internet connection of the branches as per required
2. Monitors company property requirements such as accommodation, office, and company vehicles
3. Organize requirements needed to complete construction, fit-out, equipment and supplies for the new property
4. Arrange permits & licenses as per requirements
Logistics:
1. Communicate with international suppliers
2. Coordinate with supplier the customs clearance requirements requirement related to shipment
3. Arrange shipper and evaluate shipment cost
4. Monitor shipment and ensure success of delivery
5. Coordinate with clearing agent the shipments that are arriving for customs clearance
6. Handle ministry requirement and permits is needed
7. Supervise purchasing department on any assistance that may be needed
Marketing:
1. Coordinate Branding requirements to marketing department
2. Monitor schedule to be aligned with target
3. Execute activities and requirement per branch as per company’s vision
4. Collaborate any event activities to promote the business
Accounts:
1. Submits expense summary and budget
2. Manage and supervise petty cash expenses
3. Monitors output of accounts team
4. Review financials and monitor incoming and out-going are intact
Qualifications:
> Extensive experience in business management focusing in restaurant operation
> Knowledge and background in accounting, marketing, logistics, purchasing, HR, ministry requirements
> Trust worthy
> Have strong interpersonal skills
> Ability to adapt to company's culture and a good motivator
