Responsibilities:
Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, scraping, sanding, and masking
Select and mix paint and coatings to meet job specifications
Apply paint and coatings using various techniques including brushing, rolling, and spraying
Ensure proper ventilation and safety measures during painting process
Inspect finished work to ensure quality standards are met
Maintain and clean painting equipment and tools
Communicate with supervisors and team members regarding job progress and any issues that arise

Requirements:

Experience in both joinery and metal painting or related field
Knowledge of various painting techniques and materials
Ability to prepare surfaces for painting, including sanding and cleaning
Familiarity with different types of paint and their appropriate applications
Understanding of safety protocols and equipment usage
Attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality finishes
Physical ability to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects
Willingness to work in various weather conditions and environments
