Preschool English Teacher

Job Summary:

The Preschool English Teacher creates a nurturing and stimulating educational environment for young children, fostering their language development and literacy skills. The teacher will plan, implement, and assess lessons that promote learning and development by the school’s curriculum and standards.




Key Responsibilities:

Curriculum Planning and Implementation:
Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that encourage language development, literacy skills, and overall cognitive growth.
Utilize various instructional strategies and resources to meet the diverse needs of students.
Incorporate play-based learning, storytelling, songs, and hands-on activities to engage children in learning.


Classroom Management:
Create a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment that promotes respect, cooperation, and active learning.
Establish and maintain classroom routines and procedures that support a structured and nurturing learning atmosphere.


Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, English, or a related field.
State teaching certification or licensure (if required).
Previous experience teaching young children, preferably in a preschool setting.
Strong understanding of child development principles and age-appropriate instructional strategies.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience, creativity, and a passion for working with young children.
