URGENT HIRING: Sales Manager - Cinemas & Entertainment Background
Cinemas - Family Entertainment / amusement background & experience are preferred.
Responsible for formulating Sales strategies for Cinemas - Family Entertainment / amusement in Bahrain and thereafter implementing the Sales strategy through relevant plans, programs, events and promotions, in order to assist the Operations in meeting the business objectives and drive the overall growth plans for the Cinemas - Family Entertainment / amusement.
•Develop the long term and annual Sales strategy for Cinemas - Family Entertainment / amusement based on study of international trends, review of competitors activity, regional/local trends etc.
•Generates annual marketing plans based on the above and implements the plan
including preparing and managing the sales budget and financial control
relating to marketing spending.
•Plans and executes all elements of the sales mix in the plan including advertising,
•media, promotions, events etc.
•Takes up personally or coordinates through external agency market research activities for the Cinemas - Family Entertainment / amusement, to continually increase the effectiveness of the sales efforts.
•Responsible for designing, planning and executing relevant sales promotion plans, campaigns and activities.
• Plan and take up special events for the Cinemas - Family Entertainment / amusement (covering both the Mall Promotion as well as sponsored events).
• Undertake a review of marketing trends in the Cinemas - Family Entertainment / amusement business locally, to bring in new initiatives to increase customer flow.
• Develop travel trade and corporate sales strategy.
• Develop school sales program and strategy.
• Coordinates and ties in with third party agents and operators (i.e. travel/ tour companies, hotels etc) in order to ensure that the target customer inflow is met.
• 13. Manage a PR agency, as appropriate, and ensure an effective PR strategy is always in place.
• 14. Maximize sales of Cinemas - Family Entertainment / amusement and actively research out potential clients.
• 15. Ensure a suitable database of guests and third-party organizers is captured and maintained.
• Coordinate with finance for all invoices and receipts for guests.
• 24. Ensure a clippings and advertising scrapbook is maintained.
• 25. Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual marketing reports and budgets as required.
COMPLEXITY:
• Should possess a degree from a recognized university preferably with
• specialization in Marketing.
• Have around 5 years international experience in the sales function in Leisure
• and/or entertainment industry with a proven track record of success.
• Possess capability of putting together and implementing a sales strategy/plan.
• Must possess experience in managing special promotions and events.
• Capability to work independently with minimum supervision.
• Demonstrate a high degree of customer service orientation.
