Hello Everyone,
I am looking for a Senior/Chief Accountant position, bringing over 20 years of experience in accounting, including 13 years in Ship Repair, Trading, and Aluminium Rolling Shutter companies in Bahrain.
Skills & Expertise:
Proficient in Tally ERP 9, Diamond-Oracle, SAP Hana(FICO)
Expertise in financial reporting, including Trial Balance, Profit & Loss, Balance Sheets, and Cash Flow statements
Strong background in Accounts Payable/Receivable, Project Costing, Payroll, VAT, and Bank Reconciliation
Experience with Fixed Asset Register, Intercompany accounts reconciliation, and Budgeting
Proven ability to handle external audits, banking operations, and LC and other bank facilities from management
Key Responsibilities:
Preparation of financial statements and managing month-end/year-end close processes
Project P&L management and overseeing cost fluctuations
Handling tax returns and VAT compliance in Bahrain
Close collaboration with the sales team to manage collections and secure company margins
Managing banking operations, including loan accounts, interest verification, and import payments
Preparing budget forecasts and tracking performance for different divisions
