Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled VMC CNC Setter to join our precision manufacturing team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in setting up Vertical Machining Centers (VMC), tool selection, and job changeover activities. Must be able to read technical drawings and ensure quality machining of components.

Job Title: VMC CNC Setter

Location: Chennai

Job Type: Full-Time

Salary: 15k to 30k per month (Depending on experience and skill level)

Experience: 1 to 3 years

Qualification:10th ,12th, ITI / Diploma in Any Stream

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate VMC (Vertical Machining Center) machines as per job specifications

• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and job orders

• Perform tool setting, offset adjustments, and program loading

• Ensure component accuracy by using measuring instruments like micrometers, vernier calipers, height gauges, etc.

• Conduct trial runs and make necessary adjustments to meet quality standards

• Perform routine maintenance of machines and tools

• Maintain daily production logs and quality records

• Follow safety protocols and maintain cleanliness in the work area

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of VMC machine setup and operations

• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings

• Experience with Fanuc, Siemens, or Mitsubishi controls

• Good understanding of machining parameters and cutting tool usage

• Basic troubleshooting skills

• Quality-conscious and detail-oriented
