Job Description:

We are looking for a Junior Accountant with a minimum of 1 year of experience to join our team in Anna Nagar, Chennai. The ideal candidate should be well-versed in Tally, GST, and TDS processes. You will be responsible for day-to-day accounting operations, maintaining financial records, and ensuring compliance with statutory regulations.

Job Title: Junior Accountant

Location: Anna Nagar, Chennai

Experience: Minimum 1 Year

Salary: 20,000 – 25,000 per month (based on experience and skills)

Job Type: Full-time, On-site

Qualifications: B. Com,M. Com, MBA in Finance Related Field ,Additional certifications in Tally or accounting software is a plus

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle daily accounting entries in Tally ERP

• Manage GST filings, return preparation, and reconciliation

• Handle TDS deduction, filing, and compliance

• Assist with accounts payable/receivable and bank reconciliation

• Maintain accurate financial records and reports

• Support month-end and year-end financial closing processes

• Liaise with auditors and tax consultants when required

Key Skills Required:

• Proficiency in Tally ERP

• Good understanding of GST laws and compliance

• Knowledge of TDS rules and return filing

• Basic knowledge of MS Excel

• Attention to detail and ability to work independently
