Job Description

What You will do:
Using CAM software, you will create and validate CNC programs for 3-, 4-, and 5-axis VMC machines.
To guarantee collision avoidance, ideal cutting speeds and feeds, and the most effective cycle durations, you will optimise and validate using program simulations and tool path verification.
Design Tooling and Fixtures: You will create and specify the cutting tools, workholding fixtures, and special gauges needed for the machining operations.
Work Together for Quality: You will be closely collaborating with the Design Engineering team to train VMC Operators on new programs and setup procedures and to propose changes for Design for Manufacturability.
In order to continuously enhance and optimise current CNC programs and machining techniques, you will examine production data, scrap rates, and tooling wear.
