Job Title: VMC Operator

Location: Chennai, Tamil Nadu

Experience: 0 to 3 years

Qualification: 10th Pass / 12th Pass / Diploma

Working Days: 6 Days a Week

Shifts: Rotational Shifts (Day/Night)

Salary: 12,000 – 20,000 per month (based on experience and skill level)

Job Responsibilities:

• Operate Vertical Machining Center (VMC) machines as per the job orders

• Load and unload raw materials and finished parts

• Read and interpret mechanical drawings, job sheets, and machine programs

• Measure and inspect components using micrometers, vernier calipers, and other precision tools

• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machines

• Maintain production records and ensure quality standards are met

• Report any machine faults or irregularities to the supervisor

Requirements:

• Basic knowledge of CNC/VMC operations

• Understanding of machining tools and equipment

• Ability to work independently and in a team

• Willingness to work in rotational shifts

• Fresher to 3 years of experience in a machining environment
