Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Purchase Executive to oversee procurement and vendor operations in a manufacturing setup. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing materials, negotiating with suppliers, managing stock levels, and ensuring timely delivery of materials while maintaining cost efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Source, evaluate, and select vendors for raw materials and components

Negotiate prices, delivery terms, and contracts with suppliers

Prepare purchase orders and maintain accurate procurement records

Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the store and production teams

Ensure timely delivery of materials to avoid production delays

Handle import/export documentation if required

Evaluate supplier performance regularly

Use ERP systems to manage procurement activities

Coordinate with finance for payment follow-ups

Skills Required:

Strong negotiation and communication skills

Good knowledge of procurement processes in manufacturing

Familiarity with ERP software (SAP / Tally / Oracle, etc.)

Vendor development and management

Strong organizational and documentation skills

Basic knowledge of taxation, transport & delivery logistics
