Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Tool Room Designer with expertise in fabrication layout, tool designing, and machine/tool shifting activities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and modifying tool designs for production needs while supporting floor-level adjustments and tool relocation during machine setup.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop jigs, fixtures, and fabrication tools

• Read and interpret technical drawings and CAD models

• Coordinate fabrication processes and ensure dimensional accuracy

• Handle layout planning for tool placement and shifting

• Assist in relocation of machines/tools within the facility

• Collaborate with production, maintenance, and toolmakers

• Ensure adherence to quality and safety standards

Skills Required:

• Expertise in SolidWorks or equivalent design software

• Strong knowledge of fabrication, die fitting, and tool handling

• Ability to lead shifting and setup operations

• Problem-solving and decision-making on the shop floor

• Experience with metal structures, press tools, or sheet fabrication is a plus
