Job Description:

We are actively seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Purchase Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing quality materials, evaluating vendor quotations, negotiating prices, and ensuring timely procurement for ongoing projects. You will collaborate with engineering, stores, and accounts departments to align purchases with technical and financial requirements. A strong understanding of supply chain practices and technical components is key for success in this position.

Key Responsibilities:

Identify and assess suppliers for materials and services

Issue purchase orders and follow up on timely delivery

Review engineering requirements and purchase as per specifications

Negotiate prices and maintain cost-effective procurement

Maintain records of supplier contracts, costs, and product quality

Skills Required:

Good negotiation and vendor management skills

Ability to read and understand technical drawings/specs

Proficiency in MS Office and basic ERP systems

Strong organizational and analytical skills

Educational Qualification:

B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering

Certification in Supply Chain or Material Management is an advantage
