Accountant Job Opening in Chennai Tally & GST Skills Required

Job Description :

Location: Chennai, Tamil Nadu
Position: Accountant
Job Type: Full-Time (On-site)
Experience: 1 to 3 Years
Industry: Accounts / Finance / Banking

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Record daily accounting entries in Tally ERP 9 / Tally Prime

• Maintain financial records, ledgers, and reconciliation reports

• Handle GST, TDS, and other statutory filings

• Prepare basic financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, etc.)

• Monitor cash flow, expenses, and vendor payments

• Ensure compliance with accounting policies and statutory regulations

Key Skills Required:

• Proficiency in Tally ERP 9 / Prime

• Good understanding of GST, TDS, and accounting standards

• Working knowledge of MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables)

• Accuracy and attention to detail

Qualifications:

• B.Com / M.Com / BBA / MBA (Finance)

• CA Inter / IPCC candidates can also apply

Salary & Work Details:

• Salary: 15,000 – 25,000 per month (Based on experience)

• Working Days: Monday to Saturday

• Timings: 9:30 AM – 6:30 PM

• Location: On-site (Chennai-based candidates only)

• Joining: Immediate joiners preferred
